<p>i was just wondering if being from the north east would help me in being admited to U of W since maybe they dont have alot of people applying for here (CT), or is that just straight up false. Just wondering and thought i should ask some people on this board</p>

<p>A TON of people from that area apply every year. Not at all uncommon.</p>

<p>FYI, at least 1/4 of students are from outside WI/MN- your part of the country very well represented.</p>
