Has anybody heard back yet?

Sorry that this isn’t relevant to your question, but since you’re a Northeastern transfer applicant, I’m just curious about your stats. I’m going to be applying there for next Spring with likely a GPA between 3.6-3.9. (60 credits)

Hopefully people respond to this thread saying they got accepted and with similar stats, haha.

i have a 3.8 with 31 credits, so i will let you know.

btw, i applied to the CBA.

3.7 right now with 29 credits. should be 3.8 after this semester with 47 credits. I also applied to CBA, but i havent paid my application fee yet so they probably havent even looked at my app.

Hi there, I’ve been accepted. I should be an inspiration to everyone because I had a 2.9 haha

Applying with a 3.59 w/42 credits to the CBA. I heard CBA is really competitive so I don’t have high hopes. :(

hopefully i will provide some inspiration as well, haha… I got in with a 3.0 (though from a pretty prestigious public university, and I had gotten in for the previous semester but didn’t attend, with no GPA on my file because it was still my first semester…don’t know if that factors!)

my high school stats were 1920 SAT, 3.91 W GPA

I heard back about a month after my application was re-activated (like I said, I was admitted last semester), but only took 2 days to get a decision after my file was completed.

Good Luck Everyone!

Wow 2 days! That’s kind of scary, idk if I want to know that fast!

on your application check online does it still say ‘we look forward to reviewing your completed application’?

it still says that for me despite the fact that i have sent everything in

Unlike most of you guys, I won’t be sending anything related to high school, just college credits. My high school record would hurt me, that’s for sure.

Accepted.
GPA: 3.65
Units: 62

I applied in January and heard back in early February. I’m flying out to Boston in two weeks to look at the school!

same, i am currently a second semester freshman.

starting to think that i am screwed. i cant imagine staying where i am another year.

@summer271: wow, i had the same exact SATs and close GPA

has anyone heard back from northeastern about financial aid? I haven’t heard anything from them about money which is really scary.

In regards to erikmoon, do you think having that GPA and that amount of credits was enough to get you in? Or do you feel your essay “iced” it?

Just accepted a few weeks ago with a 3.90 and 60 credits (by the end of this semester). I’m a bit confused though, as they said they’d accept only 36 credits. Is that of the 45 I have so far or including the ones I have in progress? Either way, still waiting on (and hoping for) NYU.

Do you think it would be worth it send in my HS transcript to NE if my college GPA is significantly higher? I had like a 2.91 back in HS so I’m thinking it would show progress? I sent in my SAT scores from hs since they were half decent (1380/2020), so it might look odd if I didn’t send in my hs transcript too right?

do you mean 1380/2040?

i would say send the 2.91, probably a better reflection of you than the 1380

Nah I got a CR:710, M:670, W:640, so 2020 total. A short part of my essay talked about buckling down since hs so I kinda wanted to send my old transcript in. You don’t think it would do more harm than good?

Personally, I wouldn’t. But I could see why you would do it. My SAT scores weren’t as strong as yours, so I wouldn’t send mine in.

@TheRippa

To be honest, i’d actually never heard of the school before i applied. I didn’t realize how competitive it was until i was accepted.

I think my grades and essay are solid.
