Northeastern Chances

Hey! Can you guys please chance me. This is my number one school and I really want to get in.

I attend a competitive public high school in NJ
Stats:
Sat: 2000

Reading: 600
Unweighted GPA: 3.9
Weighted GPA: 4.23

Frisbee team all 4 years
Band all 4 years
Operation smile 11-12
About 100 hours of volunteering
Research at UNDNJ
Biology Team-9
Math Team-12
Quiz Bowl-all 4 years

Intended Major: Psychology

shameless bump

Looks like a safety to low match.

Low match (although I think you’ll be mixed in with lots of similar deferees)

What exactly is a low match

And what about Boston University? What are my chances there?

BU: Low match

Admissions profiles are very similar between BU and NEU; a low match means that you have a great shot to get in.

Can I also be chanced for tcnj, drexel, stony brook, udel, and nyu

TCNJ: Safety
Drexel: Safety
Stony Brook: Safety
UDel: Safety (UDel honors: reach)
NYU: Match

why is Del honors program a reach? According to <a href=“Honors College | Challenge. Enrichment. Community.”>Honors College | Challenge. Enrichment. Community.;
i have an 83 percent chance of getting in

Fine, U Delaware honors isn’t a reach… low match (since 83% is from 2 years back and selectivity is likely to increase somewhat)

Which of the ones listed should i go to? I am now doubting northeastern just because of the money require. do you think that i can get the dean scholarship there? And what do you know of the psych co-op programs. If i cant get a scholarship there, which of the other colleges are the best for me as a prospective psych major

bump- please

Of course nothing is 100%, but Northeastern is definitely a low match/safety. You shouldn’t have any trouble getting in. As for the others:

TCNJ: ? don’t know this school, sorry
Drexel: Safety
Stony Brook: Safety
UDel: Safety
NYU: Match
