Any thread that discusses NorthEastern Oakland in detail?
Any idea how many were admitted to NU Boston Campus already?
Oakland campus there is an option of attending Boston campus after one year in Oakland. For London the students stay 3 years in London and then back to Boston campus for the 4th.
Most withdrawal won’t come until mid to late Apr. All decisions have to be out by Apr 1. Your theory can’t be right.
London students will earn two degrees. A UK bachelor’s after three years and a US bachelor’s after the fourth year. The 3-year UK bachelor’s degree is recognized by US graduate and professional schools, except medical schools.
Anyone NOT get the email? My daughter was deferred in EA. We haven’t received an email but her last name begins with W. Maybe it’s being sent in batches alphabetically…
How about Oakland campus? Any data available?
No email here either. We were deferred EA and now in RD category.
I remember emails were sent out in batches in the earlier round…
She got it!
Did Northeastern Reject any applicants outright from the earlier EA batch last month or so or did they all just move to Deferred/RD?
Anyone think decisions begin to roll out tonight? I think it was last year that decisions came out on Wednesday, 3/16.
One of my kid’s friends was denied in EA.
I know USC automatically defers everyone not accepted EA. I guess it’s kinda nice to know that my kid has met at least some sort of bar at NEU to be deferred from EA to RD?
And I should add that my kid’s friend was very well qualified. Lots of APs, in the 1500s SAT, great activities, and over 4.0 Weighted GPA.
Did he consider Northeastern as a “safety”?
No because no one should consider it a safety and they knew that.
We considered it more of a “Match”.
This is the maddening thing about admissions. My kids GPA and IB coursework is over 4.0 weighted but his SAT is lower than your kids friend.
