hey guys, does anyone know the date that EA decisions come out for northeastern?
If they follow last year’s pattern, and it appears that they are, it may be this Tuesday, December 15th.
Does anyone know around what time the decisions are expected?
In the past decisions have started coming out at 3 PM EDT geographically radiating out from Massachusetts. It can take 4 or 5 hours for all of them to be released.
@TomSrOfBoston Geographically radiating from MA? I can’t pretend to be an expert, but that seems unnecessarily complicated compared to a simple e-mail blast.
depends where you live.if in europe you shall find out at 8-9PM while in some parts of asia at 10PM
8-9 PM EST? Or 8-9 PM local time?
I feel like if they do start at 3 PM (9 PM in my time zone), radiating geographically over time, it’s unlikely my decision will come before midnight.
bro, if you are in lebanon, you shall find out at 10 PM Beirut time.
Maybe prepare yourself to not know until the 16th, rather than the 15th. That date is an educated guess anyway - probably a good one - but all the school commits to is the 31st. I’d go to bed at a reasonable time Tuesday night, maybe plan an activity for the evening that will distract me, and check in the morning. If it comes in sooner, bonus. In the grand scheme of things it will make very little difference trust me.
Has anyone received a decision yet? My D applied early action.
EA’s are most probably tuesday
What likely hood of acceptance do you think my D will have of getting in early action. She has been accepted by Fordham and Tulane so far. She really likes northeastern. Loves the location and the coop program.
ACT 31
GPA 3.8
Many EC
Many AP & Honors
Probably 10/10 recommendations
Nice essay
@saules what is her intended major ?
She is undecided but leaning toward psychology or a pre-med program.
@saules you will find out soon enough. Chances threads are not insightful, especially at this point. Be cautiously optimistic. Lots of deferrals last year.
.
Just got into North Eastern.
I got into Northeastern!
