What are your stats? Also what is our intended major?

I’m from RI and I’m applying into the college of engineering. My brother goes to the school so I’m hoping I get an extra kick for legacy student. My school does a 100 point grading system so I do not know my exact GPA on the 4.0 scale but know UW and W are both over 4.0. I have taken the hardest classes available to me at my high school. SAT was 1960, ACT was 28 (hopefully increases I took them again). Variety of after school activities (varsity sports, play, sports leadership). I thought my essay was pretty good too! Can’t wait for December 15th!

Ya me too let me know if you get in!!! What is your brother majoring in?

Electrical Engineering! But he lives in international village and most of them are business majors!

I applied for cs out of florida. My stats are iffy but there is an upward trend and I think my essay is good. 4.4/5 and 1960 (710m, 630cr, 620wr). Hopefully I get in!!

Well I hope you get in let us know what your results are! Hey just a question for all of the ED applicants, how many of you would still attend northeastern if accepted into the NUin program? If you are accepted into the NUin program it is no longer binding so you can decline and apply to other schools or attend the NUin program. Let me know what you guys think!

Applied ED into the Architecture program! I would totally attend the NUin Program, I think it would be an great experience.

You would not be offered NUIn through ED or EA. If you are deferred you may be offered that option in March if you do not get regular admission. .

TomSrofBoston that is not true. It specifically says on our application status check that you can be sent into NUin right from ED I asked about that in admissions last week

I applied ED into International Studies/ME Studies. I’m from Colorado and attend one of the best Oublic High Schools in the state. I have a 3.99 weighted and have an incredibly steep grade curve from freshman to senior year. I got a 32 on myself ACT. I have been a Varsity Coxswain for my Crew team for the last three years and am also varsity captain. I have been on my school’s Senate and have been a state competitor in Business Law at state FBLA which is a big thing here. I think that my essay is good because it really touches on the reasons for my GPA being so low but that is definitely my biggest worry in terms of getting it but Northeastern is my dream school so I really hope I get in! Oh and for NUin, I would definitely still want to go!

My S applied ED into chemical engineering studies. We are from Massachusetts. He has a GPA 3.94W, 25ACT, 1930SAT. His GPA is steady through out all 3 years, so maybe that will help. Consistency matters. Hope he gets in. Also applied to UMASS Amherst, Drexel, UNH, UCONN, Stonehill, Trinity, Syracuse. All as EA. We have a month to wait, because answer should be on December 15th. Good luck to everyone!

Does anyone know the previous years stats of ED at Northeastern? All I seem to find is EA stats?

And are there any international ED applicants here, btw?

This is the first year that Northeastern has had an ED plan.

Northeastern never had ED before this year but you can probably use any of the published stats as a guideline to what they would use as a standard. The type of students they are looking for won’t deviate between ED and RD.

Hey, when we find out our admission results we should share them on this page for future applicants and also help chance other prospective students! I feel like the admission results will come out late next week! Fingers crossed for all of us!!!

According last year, this year’s admission should start thursday, dec.11th. Few people from last year mentioned that they received email to check their account on thursday. Or worst case will be on monday, the 15th. One more week people!!!

I also applied ED!

GPA: 89.57/100
ACT: 29 (super scored) 28 (not super scored)

I seem a lot lower than you guys, I hope I still get in! I’ve been checking my email constantly!
