<p>I was wondering if anyone could tell me how Northeastern's financial aid is? Is is relatively good? Also, I was looking at a results thread and some students received a dean's scholarship etc. That is awarded in addition the university's financial aid, correct? Thanks!</p>
<p>The scholarship can impact your financial aid. In our situation, the scholarship decreased the school grant and eliminated work study. She did still qualify for a federal loan. </p>
<p>Look at NEU’s financial aid web site. The dean’s is competitive, ranges in award amount and decreases after freshman year. </p>
<p>One nice thing about NEU is you can apply early action and know your financial package in January. You would have to contact NEU to see if the Dean’s scholarship is awarded in that initial offer or awarded during the spring.</p>
