I got accepted into both of the mechanical engineering programs at the school and I'm looking to do engineering with a second degree in business (don't want to get involved in the bs/MBA program at either school just yet). I want to go to one of these two schools because of their co op programs. Drexel offered me 20k along with the honors college. Neu hasn't offered me anything yet but I don't think they will be as generous as Drexel. Assuming everything is the same price wise I have to consider this: drexel is ranked higher in engineering and the honors housing is better but northeasterns co op is better and boston seems to be a better town than philly. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

Can’t say I know much about Drexel, but you stated:

1) Drexel ENG program is rated higher.
2) Drexel offered you merit money ($20,000?)
3) Drexel accepted you into Honors program

These are very important criterion in you selection, I assume.
If you are just considering whether you’d rather live in Boston or Philly, you need to do research about the neighorhood/campus of each school.

Well I visited both campuses and northeastern clearly one in that department and Boston seems like the better town out of the two. But I’m completely open to living in Philadelphia.

^I’d prefer Boston. And if northeastern were to offer me the same package Drexel is, it would be an easy decision.
