Northeastern or University of Vermont? Please help!

hI am deciding between these two to attend school next year, I want to major in biology and be in a premed program. If possible, I also want to major in music (I got into Berklee College of Music for singing but the cost is too high without a scholarship, I also want a backup plan besides music)

Northeastern pros:
Boston is a great city
the co-op program (i could possibly co-op or intern at one of the several hospitals in the area?)
it has only 35% (ish) acceptance rate compared to 70% at UVM (I just want to go the best possible school with a good reputation where there will be many other intelligent kids)
I got a 20k scholarship a year
I can take classes at the New England Conservatory of Music as part of the music program (not as jazzish as Berklee but still good)
Being near a bunch of other music students in the area would be good for starting a band, or even possibly transfering the next year

Northeastern Cons:
It would cost about 14k more a year than UVM
Its farther from my family (not sure if thats a good thing or a bad thing)
I am not sure how the premed program compares to UVM, everywhere ive looked has said different things
If I transfer (i really wanted to go to BC, (my ACTs a 33)) it would be a bigger financial burden than having gone to UVM
A more expensive city
no med school at Northeastern
I did not get into the Honors college, but could apply my freshman year to be accepted

UVM pros:
A guaranteed interview at the med school if I have good grades and letters of rec (though im not sure i would even want to go to med school at uvm yet)
in my hometown, so im near my family, but again I kind of want to get out
I got into the honors college which has really nice dorms and advisors
a good option if i decide to transfer in the future
cheaper

UVM cons:
i know waaaaaaay too many people that go to UVM
too close to home
not as strong as a school (?)
not as many music opportunities as in Boston, also no co-op program
I would feel far away from the action

Does anyone know where premed is stronger??
I am so torn! I know this was a lot to read but please help!!!!!

NEU has lots of good opportunities for pre-meds in terms of advising and co-op opportunities at area hospitals and research centers.

The coop experiences will also help you decide if medical school is really right for you and expose you to other health related careers.
I don’t know much about UVM’s program but I don’t see how it could compare to NEU.
If finances are a big issue for you (remember you need to pay for medical school too) then you could base your decision on finances alone.
