These are much better than the U.S. News Rankings:

sweet! good to see northeastern getting some respect

Northeastern's job placement grade of A+ is stellar. It is significantly better than BU which only received a C placement grade. It is also better than Babson and Bentley which only received B placement grades. No doubt, Northeastern's placement success is directly related to the strength of co-op program in placing students in top companies.

But what jobs do they get in these top companies?

I think they were ranked #3 in the country by Back Office Grunts Magazine and #12 in the WORLD by the Pen and Pencil Purchasing Association of America ;)

Word on the street though is that Northeastern doesn't think its being fairly rated by the PPPAA and is lobbying for changes to be made on how the schools are ranked.

"But what jobs do they get in these top companies?"

Northeastern grads get jobs in junior to middle level management. But this is only the starting point. Many of these people will later climb the corporate ladder and reach the higher echelons of management (Northeastern has produced a fair number of CEOs and CFOs). Others may start their own companies like the founders of EMC, Napster, and Lycos. Here's a list of sample of positions obtained by recent Northeastern grads (look at right column):
