i hope youre right
“My GC said NEU sent her an email and said decisions will be posted today.” - Reddit user
The last 2 years decisions have been released on March 15th, and the year before they released them on the 17th. I imagine they will be released this week, but it could be any day. Also last year they weren’t released until 9 pm so I recommend just keeping your email notifications on and not getting overly worried about today.
oh god i hope youre right @iamatable
@musicnotes12 Decisions were released at 5 PM EST last year, and typically are released at 4 PM EST. Maybe in your geographic region decisions don’t reach you till 9 PM, but the first wave of decisions are at 4 or 5.
Omg…maybe they will come out today. If they come out at 4/5 pm est, what time will they come out pst?
Ehhh, probably 7-9 PM. Check the EA thread to see when CA residents got their decisions (Note that EA decisions were released at 4 PM EST).
I’m really nervous because northeastern is a reach for me and they didn’t have a supplement essay so I feel like they judge mainly on gpa and scores
@e60436 Yea, NEU judges a lot based on test scores which can be annoying.
For anyone who is interested on statistics of accepted students from my high school ( a very challenging and large public school) the average unweighted gpa (on a 4.0 scale) is a 3.71and the average SAT score is (on a 1600 scale) is a 1446
what is that?
@iamatable Same, I didn’t select NUin as an option either, but in hindsight I totally would’ve, does it give u a better shot at admission? :-?
Did this dude try and upload a screenshot by copy and pasting the file name? Lmao
@musicnotes12 we can’t see that screenshot, just says “Screen Shot 2018-03-14 at 3.33.04 PM”
I tried to post a screenshot of the scattergram from my high school but I don’t think you can post pictures
@musicnotes12 what was it about?
Never trust a statement made in reddit. Someone there claimed their GC got an email last week saying decisions would be released last Monday, 3/12. Clearly fake news.
Guys I’m international but from Ottawa Canada, so super close to massachusetts. Should I expect a decision close to the time the northeastern states get theirs?
Is the decision through email or on the portal?
Also is it confirmed today at 4?
the scattergram of all the statistics (gpa and test scores) of students who applied, and who was accepted, denied, and waitlisted but I posted the average statistics of accepted students in an earlier post
