Has NEU done away with the full tuition merit scholarships that they had in previous years?
I also got into the honors program today woo hoo!!
Accepted today into honors program with $20k per year scholarship. I didn’t think decisions were coming out until later! I’m so excited!!
I was admitted into the Honors Program with the $30k/year Northeastern National Hispanic Scholarship, it was a nice surprise to see in my email! Congrats to everyone!
@arsenalozil The full tuition merit scholarships were eliminated a couple of years ago.
@TomSrOfBoston Thanks for reply. I was wondering how a 28k merit scholarship stacked up. But it seems pretty good now since there are no longer full tuition scholarships.
@arsenalozil It appears that the $28,000 is the max merit except for the NMF/NHMF scholarships which are $30,000.
Cool, thanks.
Accepted to the Honors Program w/ 30K NHRP Scholarship 34 ACT, 3.7/4.6 GPA, congrats everyone!!!
Woah. I feel like everyone has been getting accepted to honors college RD today. Does Northeastern historically accept more people to honors RD, is this a coincidence, or is this just a biased perspective of the admissions?
@njacob19 This wave is likely exclusively honors and scholarship offers, though not all of them. Most RD decisions will come out later in March.
can people still get scholarships/honors program if they were deferred to RD?
will people who applied RD whose decisions didn’t come out today still be considered for scholarships?
Yes, honors/scholarships are still available for the rest of RD decisions, though of course the chances of getting it have decreased now.
Got in northeastern honors program with 15k a year. Good need more money tho.
Did any deferred students get a decision today?
My son got into honors with 28K…No FA, so it is still very expensive… Will see if his other choices will give a better deal
I’m praying they might come down on price, even with my scholarship we are above EFC. So sad because I really love Northeastern.
Son wants to visit but even with a nice merit offer its still too expensive compared to other schools. Just can’t justify the added $15-$20k a year when we have 3 kids to put through college.
DS got in with honors yesterday. So yesterday is the release day for any RD with honors, right? Did everyone also receive a merit scholarship as well? Any case of RD with honors but with no scholarship?
