Northeastern RD 2022

wow- I am sure you’ll into something even more elite- seems like a big roll of the dice

@quicksilver18 I have never heard of that

just got waitlisted…from CT

“ContiNUe the Northeastern Legacy
Built on Northeastern’s legacy and leadership in experiential education, and its commitment to instilling an entrepreneurial mindset in its students, ContiNUe is an innovative, year-long academic program for talented first-year students.” @quicksilver18

Applied RD, I got accepted into the NUin Program. The website says “The N.U.in Program offers well-qualified applicants—to whom we were not able to offer admission in the fall—the opportunity to join our community and begin their time at Northeastern with experiential education.” First semester is study abroad then move back to Boston for second semester as a bio major.
I’m from MA, 35 ACT, 3.8UW/4.2W with 4s and 5s on AP exams. Good luck to everyone who’s still waiting!!

Just trust the acceptance rate and applicants, not sure about the number actually accepted.

what are the odds of nj coming out at 5??? im legit having a heart attack.

Also, put your intended major please. That would help us out a lot.

@Quicksilver18 me neither, but it looks at first glance to be a transfer from CPS (College of Professional Studies) admissions offer that’s likely because you’re a legacy. Similiar to the “second-year transfer” offers you see at places like Cornell, except the first year is still done at Northeastern but through CPS. I’d frankly only consider if Northeastern was your super #1.

Re: CS competitiveness - Northeastern doesn’t release stats by major/college but it looks like the rate is certainly lower there or filled up disproportionally in EA. That makes sense given that it’s becoming one of the best programs here yet still has been growing fast the past few years - I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s growth was tempered/stopped this year via a raised standard, but that’s all speculation.

That is a great thought - Love the school that loves you- words to live by for sure.

NJ decisions are out! Just got in!

rejected with 1320 SAT and 3.9W

Waitlisted! 3.8 GPA, 1410 SAT NJ. Undecided major! Better than I expected since people with such high stats got denied.
