deferred from maryland

Deferred, TX
-1550 SAT, National Merit Semifinalist, 790 on my one subject test
-top 18 ish % at very competitive public school (among largest in state) with a 4.15/5 WGPA
-took mostly honors and AP, took 8 AP exams and got AP Scholar w distinction
-i have kinda mediocre extracurriculars though; nhs, volunteering, dance clubs, band (made state for UIL solo and ensemble), camp counselor, OK but nothing super spectacular or unique
-applied CS/Business and for FA
i think my ECs and my rank/GPA were probably the biggest reasons I didnā€™t get accepted; I already got into some pretty solid schools in state w. scholarships so iā€™m not really that bummed out, but would still preferred to be accepted; it doesnā€™t hurt to have more options to choose from

Denied from Florida. top OOS choice, really hoping i would at least be deferredā€¦ :frowning:
