did you have competitive stats?
People say that, yet Northeastern placed “demonstrated interest in school” in the third tier of selection criteria in the common data set, just before “not considered”. While I think they are concerned about yield protection like any school, my theory is that they have gotten very good at ferreting out kids who are super high stats but will likely end up at a top-30 school versus a certain profile that works for Northeastern. Then they defer those kids and make them prove up interest in NU.
