Northeastern University Acceptance

Hey guys. So I'm really worried about college. My school is rather competitive and my class rank sucks. I want more than anything in the world to get into Northeastern University up in Boston. I might actually cry if I get in. Here are my academics:

2 Language courses
A total of 9 AP Classes and 1 IB.

My GPA is in percentage. My weighted average is a 99.8%. So just about a 4.0 GPA.
My rank is terrible. It's 125 out of 650 students.

Total: 2170

That's all I can think of for now...

Oh, and I will be applying EARLY ACTION. And I'm planning on my essays being mind blowing.

You have a pretty good chance of getting in (it might be the NEin program however, which requires you to study abroad your first semester).

It looks like you have a very good chance of being accepted.

My friend who only got 1700 on his SAT even got in there

What’s the NEin program? And why do you think I would get into that? Can you tell me more about it?

You have a good chance at being accepted.

Northeastern is a match because of your very high SAT score and GPA. Don’t worry, you will get in.

Are you guys sure? Because I know my rank is horrible. I screwed up my Freshman year, but I’ve been working rigorously since. If I had worked Freshman year, I probably would be top 50 ranked, easily. I’m not doubting or anything, but out of curiosity, how do you know I can get in? Have you had personal experiences with NEU?

You really shouldn’t worry. You class rank isn’t “horrible” at all. It isn’t stellar but it its fine, especially with your SATs. I’d be surprised if you didn’t get into to Northeastern.
