My guess is you might have been accepted to NU In. I only see the fall start.

You can indicate your preference in common apps. However, I have seen people accepted to NU In and Global Scholar even they said they wanted Boston only.

I feel like those people might have accidentally clicked that they would be open to it or didn’t realize. I could be wrong but I don’t think northeastern would put them in a program they said they didn’t want to be evaluated for. I had something similar happen with another school.

Northeastern does this all the time. Many people who indicate they are not interested in the alternative programs are still offered them. And it is, “take the alternative program, or nothing.“

(Anecdotally, of course. My child has not gotten his results yet so I do not have personal experience. But there are way too many people saying this is happened to them for them all to have “misclicked” their choice.)

Huh, ok. Good to know.

If you click on the Spring 2024 link and it says “The Wait is Over”, then you are in!

Yes, my son received NUin acceptance on Saturday. I was just giving the link to Application Management (with the two applications listed) for the people who reported seeing their portal switch between “awaiting decision” and their actual decision. My son was seeing the same thing, but then we figured out that sometimes the portal URL resolves to the “Spring 2024” application (with acceptance to NUin) and sometimes it resolves to the “Fall 2023” application (awaiting decision). For people who are seeing their decision page change in this way, my thought was that if they go to Application Management, they should be able to see both of the pages.

did anyone not get the IT email and actually get an acceptance over the weekend, just curious if they only did the acceptances for those that got the “accidental” email.

I did read on Social media and this thread - there are folks who didn’t get the accidental email and did get accepted. I guess we just need to be patient and wait!!!

They are just handling this in the most atrocious way possible. Like you can just tell me I didn’t get in at this point.

The email may have gone to their junk folder and they haven’t seen it yet.

Nope, checked all folders. The batch process might have been abandoned when they realised the accident.

We were put in global scholars and 100% did not want to be be evaluated for it and indicated that.

From today?

I assume on Saturday. I haven’t heard of any people getting in yesterday or today
