<p>Finished last semester with a 4.29 and followed up my EA deferral with a letter indicating my interest and updates on recent activities.</p>
<p>A lot of really smart kids from my school applied as their safety, so I suppose that did not help.</p>

I took 8 honors courses through high school
EC’s: A whole bunch of different bands, NHS, French Club, JSA</p>
<p>I don’t know how to feel about this. I really didn’t think that I would get in, and this program seems enticing, but it just costs SO much. There’s no financial aid for the first semester, and I only received 4.5k in loans for the spring semester. My family’s efc is far less than half of the 57k tuition I would need to pay in year one, so I’m hoping that some more practical options for college come up later this week.</p>

<p>NEU was extremely tough in EA this year. Kids with 2100 SAT’s were getting rejected in some cases. They appear to be accepting those in this time around, but the cut is right around 2000 in terms of SAT/ACT it seems. It’s only going to get harder next year, they have gone up every year since 06.</p>
