I was probably a special case though because of extenuating circumstances during junior and senior year. I’m so blessed to have been accepted seeing how so many other more qualified applicants were rejected. Congratulations to everyone else who got accepted! </p>
<p>Wow, those stats should have been accepted. Something else has to be in play there, whether it be a bad rec or essay Best of luck for getting in from the wait list, you seem to merit it.</p>
<p>And my portal says “The application status check is not available at this time. You will be notified regarding your decision at the e-mail address provided in your application.” Does this happen to any of you?</p>
<p>If you read through this thread you will see that acceptance is not solely based on numbers. High stat people have been rejected or waitlisted while those with lower stats have been accepted. While there is variation based on major or college, NU does take a holistic view of each applicant, even with 50,000+ applications. </p>
