I’ll call when I get out of school. Thanks @aglasson and good luck!

Rejected
26 ACT
3.4GPA
Was not surprised at all considering my friend was rejected with a 4.0 GPA and a 31 ACT

@aglasson I just heard! Maybe it’s coming for you too!

@lorenzo44555 @screenname6 I’m in the same boat as you guys. 32 ACT 3.4/3.9 UW/W GPA. The trend here seems to be pretty schizophrenic, lots of 29’s/1900’s getting in and not everyone with a spectacular GPA. Just curious, what programs did you apply to? I was waitlisted from Comp Sci concentration in Cyber Ops.

Just got accepted in California to the NU in Program. 3.9W 3.6UW GPA. 28 ACT. Lots of ECs, amazing rec letters, and work experience.

D was waitlisted
California
3.4/3.6 GPA
2100 SAT

Since they take into account interest and financial need I will add that she did nothing to show interest, but is from a relatively high income family, >150K)

Accepted to school of business
30 ACT
3.9 (UW) / 4.7 (W)

No aid offered - so there’s a spot that’s going back in the pool. In comparison, Syracuse offered 1/2 tuition scholarship.

Accepted!(:

Music Industry Major
Arizona

Daughter was deferred from EA, but received her acceptance to Business Program today
ACT-31,+CS, STEM student, Varsity Athlete- Committed to another University but nice to hear the news.
Good Luck to all that applied.

waitlisted in MD after EA deferral
3.65
2120
strong recs ECs and essay
not taking waitlist spot

Accepted in MA to Mechanical Engineering (female so I’m sure that helped)
3.6/4.0
2140 SAT
3 sport athlete
10K scholarship and a letter claiming we did not file the CSS profile. Turns out they filed the profile under my son’s SSN (he applied to NU two years ago) and never notified us till now that they thought they didn’t have it. Assuming we will get little FA since they’ve handed it all out already. Not that upset as she’s very likely going to UMass Lowell anyway almost for free. Never a realistic chance they would give enough $$ to change that.

Hi All! A friend was accepted but told they want him to study first semester abroad? Has anyone else heard this?

My daughter said the same thing happened to two friends at her school - accepted with 1st semester abroad - they are turning it down.

@reallyworriedkid I applied for behavioral neuroscience. I was originally deferred with a 3.34 and 1970, and I figured I would get in easy when I brought those up to a 3.4 and 2210. Also there was an option to send in a supplemental essay after I was deferred and I didn’t bother doing that.

Accepted!
Behavioural Neuroscience

California resident,
3.6 GPA
4.1 Weighted
1880 SAT

Amazing ECs, Strong Personal Statement.

Accepted: UC Davis, UC Riverside, UC Santa Cruz
Waitlisted: UC San Diego, UC Santa Barbara (■■■??)
Rejected: N/A so far

I may go there depending on scholarships or aid, but it’s all up in the air at this point.

Have all acceptances gone out? When we go to the NEU application check status site - we get a message that D’s application no longer active? What does that mean?

I would call admissions and ask if you are uncertain. I have not heard of anyone having that show up before, so it seems worth asking!

Accepted! (initially deferred EA)
International Affairs / College of Social Sciences and Humanities
2200 / 1420 SAT
4.47 W/ 4.0 UW
Some really good ECs
$15k/year scholarship, but no real intentions of attending.
Congratulations everybody!

@blueliner44 How did you find out from Syracuse yet? What program??
