Northeastern University Online vs Other Online Programs

I’ve been admitted to Northeastern University’s College of Professional Studies Online M.S. in Commerce and Economic Development program. My undergrad is in Political Science, which is not particularly useful on its own so I’m looking to move into a more data-drive, math-intensive field.

I intend to stick with online schools only for the foreseeable future since I hated being dirt poor in undergrad and am looking for any insight you all may be able to provide about this program or comparable ones.

The others that I’m considering applying to are:

Colorado State - Master of Applied Statistics
Penn State - Master of Applied Statistics

I’m still searching around for programs like these but that’s what I have listed at the moment. What do you think would be more beneficial and/or useful in the job market, the degree from Northeastern or one of these other? What is the public perception of Northeastern’s College of Professional Studies vs other schools?

Thanks in advance!

I would believe based on overall, Northeastern is the better brand of school, but it’s hard to compare econ based masters with applied statistics. I think these all are great schools. I had a coworker quit the Colorado State MS in applied statistics, maybe researching the retention rates/completion. I applied for fall for Penn State online Masters in Accounting. Both Econ and Statistics should require up to calc2, GRE/GMAT research that also. I don’t believe Colorado State accepts GRE for certain programs. I also ask the score range for GRE for school and program. Best of luck deciding!
