For anyone thinking of enrolling for the spring semester, how are you finding off campus housing?

Hi all,

I was accepted about three or four weeks ago to Northeastern for the Spring of 2019 as a Political Science and Philosophy double major. I called Northeastern’s Office for Off-Campus Housing, and they suggested joining Facebook groups and Craigslist. I’ve found good offers on the Facebook groups. If you’re willing to pay anything, then Fenway is a good option although a bit pricey. I found a good deal about a 20 minute walk from campus.

Has anyone committed yet?

Since I am a bit late to the party, if anyone is curious here are my stats:

  • Sophomore at UConn, attending as in-state student
  • GPA: 3.9, Honors Program, several honors societies and scholarship programs
  • Good AP scores, strong EC's including trip director of an alternative break, e-board member of National Organization for Women and over 150 hours of community service performed at UConn.
  • Strong resume, have interned for local government and multiple nonprofits.
  • First generation college student
  • 3.9 HS GPA, top 10%
