If they make us wait until next week just to reject us all I think I might scream. I haven’t gotten a decision letter yet but I think my deposit deadline for another college is next week. It really would not make sense for them to hand out all rejections in different waves so lets hope that’s the case I guess.
Im so sick of waiting. I completed everything in March and I’m still sitting here with no decision. If they’re waiting to just reject me then I’m going to be p*ssed.
Hi everyone! I know the wait is killing you all, but to give you guys a shed of hope, I was in a webinar for admitted transfer students today and we were able to ask questions and I asked if all decisions had been made as of now, and they said they are still reviewing applications and not all decisions have been sent out.
I’ve been following this thread for a while but I’m finally posting because I still haven’t received my decision yet! I’m getting kinda worried because the other school I was accepted to needs my final decision and deposit by June 1st! NU has been taking the longest and it’s pretty inconvenient that they say final decisions might not all be out until June 15. Anyone else in the same boat?
My theory is that since I haven’t gotten anything yet I’m in the “maybe” pile but if it’s not out by June 1st I’m not risking the rejection so I will definitely be submitting my deposit elsewhere!

As you can tell by my username, I really wanna be an NEU student. Thing is, I’m trying to be realistic with my application, and a lot of you guys are A LOT more qualified than me. Thing is, I haven’t heard back yet and the anticipation is TOO MUCH. Decline me already lmao. Wishing the best of luck to everyone who has yet to hear back and wishing the best of luck to those declined. Y’all are probably way to good for NEU anyways.

@transfer2019 Now. If you haven’t already, sign up for the off-campus housing website (you can get to it if you put “aptsearch” and then a dot before the regular Northeastern website URL (hopefully I’m making as much sense as possible without being allowed to paste the link here)
@badblood But isn’t on campus housing also offered to SOME people? It’s risky but like, I know some transfer students who were lucky to get on campus housing.
@NEUWannaBe101 I’m not completely sure if it’s offered to some people but I’m pretty sure on campus housing is full now.

I have a question to those that were accepted, if you have received your financial aid package, did you guys receive a lot? I haven’t received mine yet, but I want to see how much people got because I don’t think I will get mine until after the deposit date /: Also, I know transfers don’t get housing however, one of my friends have an opening to one of their dorm apartments, does anyone know if Northeastern would allow me to take that spot? thanks
@prayformygrades I got my aid package when I found out I was accepted and my package covers a good deal of tuition. I don’t want to give specific numbers but I’m lucky (not trying to brag in any way, I just wasn’t expecting to get money because I had to turn down other schools for barely giving me anything.) And regarding housing, I have no idea, you’d have to call reslife.
