Hi, I’m a prospective student hoping to visit Northeastern Univeristy to see if it will be a good fit for me. During registration for a college visit, my name had not been put down as the visitor but rather as a guest, so the college doesn’t know that I’m registered. For demonstrating interest in Northeastern, do admission officers check the names of students who have visited campus before? In other words, should I sign myself up for a later date with my name so they know I have visited their campus?
Thanks! Charlotte
I would email your adcom and let them know that you registered as a guest, the date/details, etc and ask if your attendance can be retroactively added as an official registration. Northeastern does consider demonstrated interest, so I think it would be a good idea but they may not need the official registration. As long as you’re communicating with your adcom there shouldn’t be any need to visit again.
