I was wondering which one of these two schools is the best for business administration. I know they both have co-op programs which is why I am really interested in them. Thanks for all your help!!!

Overall? I’d say Northeastern is much better for business.

If you want to work in the Mid-Atlantic, go to Drexel. If you want to work in the northeast, go to Northeastern. If you have no regional preference, go with Northeastern because NEU has a better university overall and a much better ugrad business program.

i’m from the philadelphia area, so i’m pretty familiar with drexel, and i currently attend northeastern.

they’re very similar schools, especially because they’re the two major coop schools.
even academically speaking, they’re probably fairly equal. usnews ranks northeastern 69 and drexel 86. so maybe northeastern has a slight academic edge, but they’re both good schools. also good to consider is that northeastern was ranked 96 just a few years ago, then last year was 80, and then this year was 69… it’s definitely improving and becoming more and more competitive, so by the time you graduate, it will probably be a better ranked school than when you came in.

as far as i know, both schools are great at placing students in coop. i haven’t personally gone on a coop yet, but most people end up with jobs and most people end up loving coop. i also know people at home who got good positions fairly easily for their coop at drexel.

i would try to visit both if you can - my favorite things about northeastern are the location, the campus, the architecture, etc. i think it’s the most beautiful campus ever, and it’s so easy to get to anywhere in boston. visit the schools, get a feel for the more personal factors - do you feel like you’ll get along with the student body? do you like the environment? remember, this is where you’ll be LIVING for the next 4+ years.

NEU hands down

^^

Maybe because I’m a little biased ;)
