<p>I think it’s a bit of a reach, but if you get the chance to raise your SAT score I think it would help you tremendously because my college counselor told me that Northeastern is very test oriented when reviewing applications. I think applying Early Decision will definitely help you, though!! I wish you the best of luck :slight_smile: </p>

<p>Your GPA is the average at Northeastern, but your SAT score is rather low. The average SAT score for accepted students at Northeastern is about 2070, so it’s currently a reach for you. If you could raise your SAT score by 200-300+ points, it could easily be a match, though.</p>

<p>I think it’s a low reach. If you can get your sat up, your golden, but even if not, you still have a shot.

<p>Like everyone else said, your SAT is a little low, so it’s a bit of a reach. Have you taken the ACT? Some people do much better on that and all colleges accept it.

<p>Reach just because of the amount of APs you took and your SAT score. Try to get your SAT up another 300 points and you will be golden. I think your GPA is solid, and your ECs are definitely good enough. (sorry for short response)</p>

<p>You have a lot of focus in your EC’s, so if you can raise your SAT a bit you should be fine. Even without retaking the SAT you should have a good shot at the school.</p>

<p>honestly, it’s a reach, only due to your scores. you could always retake and not apply early decision…gpa is good, maybe adding some more APs? also, did you take the AP exams? if not, it was a waste. if so, and you scored less than a 3, it was as well a waste. EC and Honors society look awesome! lots of experience and lots of service, will look good on application. </p>

<p>Yeah, unfortunately, I must agree with the majority here. Your SAT is much too low, and even if it weren’t Northwestern would still be a reach, as it is for everyone. If you have the chance to take ACT or retake SAT, I suggest you do it. </p>

<p>Your ECs and GPA seem on par with NE but you need to work on the SAT score a bit. A 1900, even a 1800 would be good. </p>
