Does anyone have any comments on the Music program in Northeastern, since there are only very few colleges in the United States which have music industrial studies, and one of them is Northeastern. I am trying to get into USC (University of Southern California) as well for this program. USC is a reach but Northeastern is very likely. From the Boston schools, which one would be better: BU, Babson College, or Northeastern Business-wise, since I would be majoring in Business? Could anyone give me advice?
Thankyou,
Ria

I’m obviously going to be biased. Northeastern beats out BU and Babson for business and I don’t really care for rankings either. I think we offer the best internships and also have a very strong alumni network, particularly in Boston and NY. I don’t think you can go wrong with any of these schools.

NU just because of the co-op options… Resume looks so much better… I’m currently co-oping and in charge of recruiting for next semester’s co-op to replace me. The NU resumes are so much more impressive than the Penn State one’s because of the co-op’s. While the student in general from Penn State has worked as a “Sales Associated” at a Sears ( nothing wrong with that… ), the NU co-op has worked at State Street Global and has been exposed to finance, etc. Hence, when I compare the two resumes, I’d still pick the NU student even though he/she might have a slightly lower GPA.
