I'm wondering where you guys think i should go; i plan on either double majoring in business and econ, or going poly sci/international relations/international studies. I'm posting this to all 3 pages for all 3 schools. Any and all info, tips, suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Feel free to comment on any facet of any particular school. Thanks in advance!

We seem to be in very similar situations. I’m deciding between NU and Pitt (leaning more towards Pitt at this point, to be honest), with a planned major in the field of international relations. The obvious benefit of NU is their co-op program. They even have international co-ops where you can work abroad. However, Pitt also puts an emphasis on experiential learning, and, personally, I think the environment at Pitt is a much more supportive one. Everyone seems so eager to help out, and advising is a big part of shaping your education. I didn’t get the same feeling from Northeastern of a well-advised process: the attitude seemed more like “Here’s what you can do… now you figure it out.” I could be way off base, but this was just my impression of the two schools. Also, if you continue on in the international vein, Pitt is one of ten UN centers in the US, so that’s nothing to sneeze at.
I can’t say much about U Miami, but I hope some of my rambling helped.
