I recently got accepted to drexel and northeastern. I got into the college of buisness at both schools. I am trying to figure out which has a better reputation, program, and overall which is a better school.

personally i feel like northeastern is an overall better school and they cost the same amount. they both have great co-op programs. how much money did you get from either school? of course i cant give u much info on business cause im going for chemE

Northeastern is far better academically, and Drexel is not exactly located in a safe area.

Far better academically? Drexel was ranked 89th by US News & World Report in 2009, while Northeastern was ranked 96th, so I don’t know where you get that from. The schools are very comparable, and Drexel is not an unsafe campus. It is a 10 minute walk from Center City, right next to UPenn. The perception is that Northeastern is a lot better, but in reality they are very equal. Great co-op programs, similar tuition, similar environments. Northeastern’s business school is very good, and Drexel’s is up and coming with a great MBA program. It also depends where you live and how close to home you want to be. Both institutions are great schools and you will get a very good education.

Im not to sure if they are comparable. NEU has a better campus and student body in terms of academics. The acceptance rate is a lot lower than Drexel 77% vs NEU 35%. SAT and GPA wise NEU is higher. Business program, NEU is far superior to Drexel.
