Hello! It is only a few days left till i have to decide and i just got accepted off the waitlist for Northeastern with an excellence scholarship of $10,000. So overall cost for northeastern would be roughly 40K while UCSB is 30K. which school should i attend? is the co-op worth it to pass up UCSB's greater prestige, instate tutition, and proximity from home? Can anyone explain and go more in depth in Northeastern's co-op program in behavioral neuroscience? Thanks!

Pros of each

I think it is a toss-up. Here are the pros of each, AFAIK.

UCSB - higher ranked, lower cost. You should also include travel and living expenses in your calculation.

Northeastern - I don’t know how UCSB’s behavioral neuroscience program is, but Boston has a lot of biomedical companies, institutes, hospitals, and colleges that may give you a great co-op opportunity, and experience counts for a lot these days.
