Northeastern vs. Villanova (Engineering)???

Hi guys, I recently have been accepted to both the Northeastern engineering school and the Villanova engineering school. I am finding it hard to choose between these two schools. I feel like Villanova has a better reputation but is not known as an engineering school. Does Nova have a serious engineering program? If I were to change my major, I would change it to business at Villanova, but I don’t think that is an option I’m capable of. Are there any (engineering) students out there at either Villanova or Northeastern? I’m mostly interested in the academic experience as the location and social scenes of both schools are fine with me (but feel free to tell me about those too and the overall experience at either school). Where would a(n engineering) degree count more from and where would I receive a better education?

I know these are lot of questions but any insight would be helpful! Thanks!

Northeastern is certainly more well known in engineering, and also has the co-op program which is a big advantage when it comes to getting experience. I’ve only heard solid things about it from my friends in engineering (I’m CS there), and there are lots of research opportunities in engineering as well. Villanova is very respectable, but I don’t think it has any big reputation difference comparatively on a whole - I think they would be considered peer schools by most.

Whether or not you really like the idea of co-op is something I would put good weight into for the decision, as it makes for a significantly different experience on the whole.
