I got into all but waitlisted at Madison . International student which would be the best option fess for all is same and cost doesnt matter to me much.
According to me I feel UW MADISON slightly greater than UMASS for CS , tho both are great schools for CS . Top 20 . Thats what ppl tell me and NEU and VA tech are not that reputed nd dont have such a good program.
I can’t imagine NEU and VT are rated lower than UMass in anything. Both are superior schools.
Sorry , I did not mention for CS . I meant specifically for CS . In general yes those two are superoior. @hoosierdaddy18
This is the UW site. You are waitlisted for UW so you need to check with other sources for the comparisons of schools you are admitted to. IF you were able to go to UW I would choose that over other options for CS. But not likely to happen.
UMass is stronger regarding its graduate CS program, especially at machine learning. I’ll go to Wisconsin for undergraduate education.
