Northeastern's BSIB vs. a traditional program for int'l business?

Hi all, I'm currently a junior intending to go into international business, taking aim at i-banking in China & Hong Kong (I have excellent family connections to CITIC.) Guanxi aside, I want to earn respect and opportunity in my own right. What are your opinions of Northeastern's Bachelor's in International Business (which includes study at HKUST and a 6-month co-op in China or Hong Kong) vs. a traditional+prestigious business program like Finance or Accounting at Stern?

Stern for banking

I would also go to Stern. I know a some of the top business programs have exchange programs with HKUST, including my own, so I wouldn’t be surprised if Stern did as well. The important thing is that Stern’s finance program is more well-known and respected in the investment banking world.

Stern for sure.

graysonc: Life is all about traditions and prestige, but to be honest Northeastern with the opp to study in Hk would give you a lot more exposure and opportunities in its own way! If I were you I would go with the first option and try and get a good grasp of Mandarin while in Hk/China also build some good contacts …
Good Luck!
