Okay they don’t offer the SAT at my school but my mom found where I can take it. I hear the public relations program at UA is one of the best but I have also heard the same about UGA’s

^^UGA has good journalism school -I’m guessing that’s where PR is. With regards to sororities, like someone mentioned, don’t get hung up on being in a certain one. I saw a list of “top” sororities in some other part of country and they were not the most popular in south - it varies from school to school - so fixating on one is a waste of time. Plus, just like colleges, there is a fit for everyone.

A good site for Greek info at the Real UT. BTW, Sorority Village is almost complete - multi million dollar new development.

Good luck.

How much merit money do you want/need? How much will your family pay?

Of your list of schools, Bama is most likely going to give you the most money if you get an ACT 30 (or SAT equivalent). Your costs would be less than your own instate publics.

University of Alabama may be a good fit because over half of the undergrads are from out-of-state. I have a friend there who is straight from NYC and seemed absolutely enthralled with her sorority. She told me if I was planning on rushing there that I should avoid “old row” sororities and rather focus on “new row” if I seeked a more diverse group of girls.
UGA, while populated by predominantly in-state students, is a very large and liberal school. You are right to choose large universities, as those will have a broad enough demographic that you will have no problem finding a similar friend group! And even if the girls do seem predominantly Southern, they are also extraordinarily friendly and accepting.

FSU has a fairly good rep for PR (School of Communications). It’s a limited access program, so you’ll need at least a 3.0 GPA when you apply to the school as a sophomore. UF likely has the best program in the state, while UGA also has an outstanding program. UF and UGA are also limited access/competitive admissions programs.
