Northside to Berkeley Bart

Which bus do I have to take if I want to go from the Foothill area to the Bart station?

Perimeter may work, not entirely sure. But if you can walk to Unit 2, (College AVE), Bus 51B comes there to BART station.

52 (stop in front of Greek Theatre) or the Perimeter (take either stop next to Cory or the stop across from Bowles) will take you there. Perimeter only runs on weekdays before 7PM, but when it runs, it is much more consistent in timing than the AC lines are.

You can also take bus 65 from North Gate, which is a downhill walk from Foothill. 65 would go counterclockwise, so the distance to BART would be shorter?

Thank you so much everyone!!

There used to be a couple good choices, but ever since they redid the routes, it’s been a bit awkward.

Permeter: takes 15min, has to go around Evans Hall and southside; comes every 12min, limited hours

Reverse perimeter: takes 8min, relatively direct route; comes every 30min, very limited hours

52: takes 12min, has to go around southside; comes every 40min, most of the day

F: takes between 12min-25min, depending on whether or not that run stops at Hearst/Oxford, very similar to 52 when stopping at Hearst/Oxford instead of Bancroft/Telegraph; comes every 30min, most of the day

51B and 49: it’s gonna be a 10min walk to southside get to that stop and a 7min ride to the BART station, but 51B runs every 10-15min and 49 every hour

In comparison, walking downhill to the BART station takes 15min.
