Northwester vs UPenn vs Brown for IEOR

Hi, I am now a rising sophomore majoring in Applied Math at Brown. However, I strongly desire to go to grad school studying IEOR right after my undergrad career and now I feel that Brown might not be a good place since not many professors interested in this field. I already got accepted as a transfer student to Northwestern's IEMS and UPenn's Systems Engineering. So I need to decide soon where I will attend next year. I kinda love Brown, but also appreciate Northwestern's strong IEMS department, and UPenn sounds great, too. Please help me decide. I am an international student. Thank you in advance!

bumpppppppp

I’d go to Northwestern for academics. If you really love Brown though, talk to your advisors and see how their students fare when applying to OR PhD programs. You could always get a Masters from Columbia or Princeton in OR to help you in your studies.

Penn’s Systems has a fair EE background to it which turned me off. Also, a good amount of the Operations research at Penn is in Wharton’s OPIM department.
