Thanks Toofast, I hope that is a good sign that they did not ask for a midterm report.

@northwestern2

I’m at Wake Forest for now, although whether or not I’m accepted to Northwestern I am leaning towards leaving.

Thenatural what are your other choices? I’ve heard wake forest is very rigorous and potentially depressing environment.

Taroon, NU should get it too because they are on a quarter system themsves so if they needed any info I think they would ask. Wouldn’t worry about it.

I just called NU and they said most decisions will be sent out within the next two weeks. I asked them about today and tomorrow being major decision days and they did not seem to understand where this information came from. So I guess we most likely have up to two more weeks of waiting.

@Toofast

I was accepted by WashU and Boston College, and am still waiting on Northwestern, Tufts and Hamilton.

Wake is a fairly rigorous school, although my issues are more with the social life and the overall culture of the school, which don’t really mesh with what I want.

Are you considering Wake Forest?

No I am not considering Wake and that’s weird you haven’t got a decision from Tufts they gave me one like 2-3 weeks ago. NU is the last school I am waiting for but looks like the wait continue for another 2 weeks

@thenatural7

I was accepted to WashU as well. That is where I will probably be attending if denied by Northwestern. Fingers still crossed for NU though. Out of your other choices which are your top? Wash U have a shot?

thenatural17: are you considering Boston College? Right now I’m deciding between BC and BU since I haven’t heard from NU

@Toofast: I was waitlisted at Tufts so I’m still waiting on an actual decision, but I know the chances of an acceptance are pretty slim at this point.

@Ctgirl123: I’m the same way as you, waiting on Northwestern but definitely leaning towards WashU at this point. I’ve sent in my deposit so right now I’m just waiting to see what happens really with NU and Tufts before I make a final call. What are your options?

@Reallyrosie: I’m considering BC, although I kinda doubt I’ll end up there. There are a lot of things I like about it, but I’m worried that despite the lack of greek life it may be a bit too similar to my former school. It’s a great place though.

I was waitlisted at Wesleyan and am waiting on NU and ND. Not sure that I would choose ND or Wes over WashU anyway though at this point. Maybe we will be classmates! We will see what happens. Other options were UNC-CH, Rice, UMich

I got into BC as well and while i love it the lack of Greek life was a deal breaker for me. I am also wait listed at Wesleyan but soo hoping for NU

Decisions are still coming via e-mail 1st correct? NW is by far the slowest of the 11 schools I applied to regarding decisions. I wonder how many applicants are lost to other institutions due to the super late notification time

Anyone did call to ask for a decision because of deposit for other schools? Do they let you know the result in that case?

@quer

I called for that a long time ago. they said they put a note on my file. it is now end of may and I have YET to hear. So my guess is they take it into account only at their convenience.

Northwestern was fast to admit me, yolocholo. I wonder if they have an order in which they admit people.

No decisions today or yesterday screw this

Can anyone help me make a decision?
I got accepted by University of Michigan and Wash U st.louis, and still waiting for Cornell. But I have to respond to these two universities soon.
I am an electrical engineering major, and an international student. I know that Umich has a much better engineering program, and probably better reputation, but I also like the small size of Wash U. It’s hard to decide. Can anyone give me some suggestions?

Just called today, got told their goal is by the end of next week. They said they just couldn’t meet the end of May. Anyone got an idea if I got in last year how that stacks me in for this?

Claireliu, pay your deposit at the University of Michigan right now and enroll in classes. Then, if you get accepted to Cornell (which is unlikely), you can cancel your enrollment at the U of M and enroll in Cornell.

@muaythaiguy18

So you think Umich beats Wash U?
What’s the chance to get into Cornell?
