<p>4.0 UW, 2400/36, 800/800/800 math2c/bio/physics, valedictorian of 540, all APs this year with 18 APs throughout high school (scored all 5s on the 10 APs I took previously), President of NHS, MAO, Spanish Club, Student Council, and captain of the school bowling team, scholar’s bowl, etc. 500 hours+ of volunteering in summer and throughout school year. Did two research internships over the summer with second internship resulting in getting published in a national journal and being a Siemens finalist, got 9+ on usamo in past 3 years, placed 2nd nationally in national french competition and our scholars bowl team won state championship last year. Teacher/counselor/additional mentor recs were amazing, essays were best I’ve ever seen, first generation URM.
I got rejected, not even deferred. At my interview, I told them their school sucked. Good luck.</p>
