Northwestern deadline question

Dear x,

If you intend to apply to Northwestern, please note that only the Common Application itself and the application fee (or acceptable fee waiver) must be submitted by midnight tonight. You will have an additional two weeks to submit the other components of the application (recommendations, supplement, etc.).

Warm regards,

Office of Admission

P.S. - don't forget to tune in today's Outback Bowl to root for the Wildcats!

When they say "supplement" are they talking about the essay supplement, or the school forms and stuff?

I’m kinda wondering this, too.

I tried emailing them, haven’t yet received a reply.

I’m not applying to Northwestern but by the way that email is worded it seems that only the main Common Application is due tonight; the Northwestern supplement is due in two weeks.

Don’t take my word for it.

What other “supplement” is there? I think the e-mail is articulated clearly.

There’s the online supplement. Then there’s the International Supplement, along with the school forms (counselor’s recommendation, teacher evaluations, etc.)

It doesn’t matter what the “supplement” refers to, because the e-mail says that anything that isn’t the CommonApp or payment doesn’t need to be turned in tonight.

Does the supplement come under the common app? Stupid question, I know. Just making sure.

Never mind. I decided to submit the full application anyway.

haha, I’m pretty sure it doesn’t count as part of the CommonApp. But…congrats on sending it in anyway.

Well it’s a good strategy, they’re getting my $65 because of it…
(I got the same email)
