im pretty sure what everyone has seen so far is legit; they wouldn't "test" this way. They probably just said it was a test because we're not supposed to see anything yet.

IDK.... I'm not gonna try and believe anything until I actually see it official. All I know is that NU admissions is losing a lot of respect from me for this

Wishful thinking, wishful thinking. But...I do agree. There are many ways to "test" without actually doing it on the real web site when anxious applicants are compulsively checking. I'm still really worried I wasn't able to make an email or anything though.

"All I know is that NU admissions is losing a lot of respect from me for this"

...I'm sure they care.

anyway, it seems like the kid who said decisions are coming tonight is right. I don't know why they would do these "tests" a week in advance.

^That kid would be me :D.

I applied to the SEAS. So it's definitely possible ... I've got pretty decent stats.

Again, fingers crossed.

i went back a couple of pages and read "decision are up"

and was liek holy *****...almost had an heart attack. but then i realized its just a test. T.T

i can't take this anymore!! ahahha

Did anyone else not applying for FA get "in" ?

I don't think so since we don't have a page to check our decision on.

Howcome I did then? Lol. Weird..

AH! I hate you!!!

Hmm .. maybe 'cause I'm an International applicant?

This is a stupid question, but can you tell me where all of you guys were checking the status for financial aid but not you can't? Is it the place where you go in under applicant services and enter your e-mail address and application ID code?

Was there something available to click on that said financial aid? I am just a little confused!

There was this Financial Aid tab on the left with the rest of them(Change Phone, Change Address etc) ...

Once you log into Applicant Services, I suppose there is a link "Financial Aid Status" or something. There's where these guys are getting their decisions from. I didn't apply for financial aid so I have no idea what to do...sigh...

OK...I see

Yep, it is gone!

The link has since been removed

I hope Official Decisions come out tonight! (Hopefully, the rumor is true)

It's annoying that the link is gone.

Why am I always too late for these types of things.......

be glad you weren't here. it was like going through the roof only to be yanked back down into a faceplant on the floor.

Lol, I accessed applicant services and my heart skipped a beat when I read "Dear (my name), we are pleased" but then I realized it's just the same old welcome message. Wooooooooooo

"Dear (my name),

We are pleased that you have decided to apply to Northwestern University. We have received your application to the Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences to begin study in Fall 2008. "
