Northwestern, Duke, or WashU

for pre-med. any thoughts?

It’s win-win-win.
Which school’s atmosphere do you like best (i.e., where would you be happiest and most productive)?

In that order.

I have this exact same question- except with Rice instead of Duke

^^And I would have the same answer (although I would be inclined to favor NU in that threesome)

all three are pretty good i would go with the school that gives u the most aid :p

all are good. I would prefer NU and Duke over WashU. but again, they all have extremely good pre-med programs.

Personally, I like Duke the best. But I think WashU or NU would be better for pre-med.
But it doesn’t matter, you can’t go wrong with any of them so pick out of a hat if you must. :P

Premed should not enter the equation. Really irrelelevant to your choice. All will prepare you well. Don’t believe for one minute that one of these three is in some way superior in this regard.

All three are academic elites and will provide a great basic science curriculum. The quality of education will be indistinguishable at the undergrad level.

But the schools are certainly different. Duke and Northwestern have a fair amount in common with each other with Wash U a bit of the outlier. Despite its campus centered culture and lakefront location, Northwestern has, by far, the best connection to a major city and all that city life can offer. Duke will offer the most buccolic setting and best weather.

Go where the fit (and money) works best for you.
