Like I said, roughly 5-6 pm (Chicago time) this Tuesday. So I was off by a just a little. Sue me. Or sue Northwestern.
Seriously, my heartiest congratulations to all of you who got in. From what I've observed about NU, you will be unbelievably happy there, and will get an education that takes a back seat to none. Moreover, if you are not from the midwest (and we are east coasters), I think that you will love the change in environment, and getting away (for at least a few years) from the over-the-top, myopic, east coast mania (and snobbery).
Finally, you should really celebrate, because NU's popularity has risen at such an unbelievable rate these past few years that it is becoming REALLY hard to get into, much more than could have been foreseen a decade ago.
Aquamarinee and all you others, now you can calm down, chill, celebrate, and enjoy the rest of your senior year just for the sake of learning, without sweating the grades, tests, college apps, etc.

<p>i applied to northwestern early but i still havent found out yet… i live in tokyo does that make it slower or something?? but some of my friends who got accepted early to other schools like stanford found out on saturday our time. (which is a friday in the states)

<p>Don’t worry, no one has received their email yet. I’m pretty sure you’ll get the email the same time everyone else does, which will likely be on the 14th or the 15th (according to the Central Time Zone- the 15th or the 16th in Tokyo). I don’t know why Northwestern is taking so long, but it’s driving me crazy.</p>
<p>Also, this does happen to be last year’s thread.
