I have a very successful comedy show on my schools bulletin and am president of my school comedy club, and hope to one day be a tv writer and/or personality.
I'm an AP scholar, and my teacher recs are Amazing.
I'm applying to northwestern early decision through my questbridge application, a program in which I was an unmatched finalist.
I'm also a commended student for the national merit scholarship, a program who's reccomendation I sent to northwestern.

I think you’ve got a standing chance! And I’m so very sorry to hear about your brother; I hope he is doing well :(. I think if you explain what went on your freshman year, you’re good. Does NU require Subject Tests? The good thing is, you had a huge upward trend in your GPA, which is what colleges love to see. Goooooood luck! :)

Chance me back?

Well I’m not sure if they require them, but I sent them, and I briefly mentioned my brothers cancer in an essay, thanks a lot! Anyone else?

Badump bump tshhh

Colleges LOVE Questbridge, even if you weren’t ‘matched’ (idk exactly what that means), because of being a low income student and still achieving so much. I was thisclose to applying with it, but I didn’t find out until about a few weeks before the deadline haha. your SAT scores are impressive and although your freshman GPA is really low, you have an incredibly steep upward trend, which colleges also love. As long as you explained about the freshman year, I think you’ll be fine. Good luck! :)

What collegebound said is true, low-income is a nice tipping factor in your favor. Good chances.

Congrats on getting in!! See ya next year!
