Northwestern ED Chances? 3.75 UW GPA, 2270 SAT

Hello all! I am a junior at a competitive public high school in NJ. I am interested in hearing my chances of admission at Northwestern University ED in the fall with a major in English.

Match especially since you are applying ED. Northwestern admits a large percentage ED. Also, you have taken a very challenging course load. Good luck

Very likely chance. The only weakness is grades slightly but for ED it’s probably fine. I’d try to get straight As/ just get the maximum upward trend for the end of Junior year. Legacy only helps (and greatly helps) for ED. I say from experience applying ED this year that it’s likely with legacy + fairly good grades + your really good ECs + some quality essays to demonstrate interest (which I’d say is SOOOO important for NU: it’s why so many qualified ppl get rejected RD apply to NU as a backup and why the accept so many people ED) and you’ll almost certainly get in!
