Northwestern Fall 2021 Transfer

i haven’t… when did you apply? I applied in March

Also didn’t get the email - applied Weinberg 3/1 and checklist has been complete for about a month now ;;

I applied early Feb and didn’t get it

Is it bad it sounds like a promotional email to me?

Check out the wording on this email blurb posted on r/A2C: Reddit - Dive into anything

That’s what I initially thought too but it’s kind of strange that they’re sending it to students who already applied and even more so it looks like only a select pool received it? I don’t want to overthink it and psych myself out though ):

Nah, I personally wouldn’t worry too much about it.

April is the start of college spam email season, and I certainly remember getting a lot of promotional emails from colleges, even after I applied to them.

I personally don’t think this isn’t significant — but I could be wrong!

I applied March 14th and I got the email

I really think it sounds like one of those promotional emails. But I could be wrong. Anyway it is not a bad sign.

I don’t think NU is coming out tonight. Based on Previous threads, the first wave is always a wednesday

Not necessarily, last year it was a Thursday or Friday I think, but it seems to come out on the third week of April. So I don’t hold much hope for tonight.

^ ! I think it’s usually either Wednesdays or Thursdays. It’s also worth considering that last year’s decision date may have been affected/pushed back due to COVID! I’m hoping first wave could be tonight but also not really since historically first wave seems to be mostly rejections ;___;

Historically the mostly rejections wave comes at the beginning of April I believe. We are already at the second wave time compared to the 2019 trend.

How strongly are SAT/ACT scores considered if you’re applying as a rising junior with plenty of college credits? I took my SAT like 4 years ago lol
