@bossop i haven’t heard anything yet. I don’t know what this means, though. I feel like I am on some type of informal waitlist, because if they wanted to reject me, I feel they would have done it in this round.

Has anyone ever been waitlisted as a transfer before? I don’t know what to expect and I can’t find any other similar cases.

Honestly, Northwestern has always been my dream school and I was really really hoping to get accepted this time around, but all this waiting honestly numbed the pain of the rejection lol. Might take a gap year now and figure some stuff out because I don’t really want to keep paying for UCSD from the comfort of the midwest -_-
@Muqsith @Obviouszoo which schools were you waitlisted from? i was waitlisted RD last year too so i know your pain!!
@Obviouszoo I have found pretty much nothing so far. Also if the transfer waitlist form wasn’t working for you earlier, it should be now.
@BL3001 Northwestern was the only college I tried transferring to and the only one I got waitlisted from. I know RD applicants have a very small chance of getting off the waitlist but I’m hoping it is somewhat higher for transfer students.
@Muqsith sorry - i meant which school within NU!
Any chance we can construct a head count on who is still awaiting decisions and from which colleges to try and get a sense of how many more waves there will be? I have not heard back yet and applied to Weinberg.
