<p>*Note: My high school is extremely rigorous (especially during junior year). I have taken a full set of IB/AP courses, and will achieve the IB Diploma after graduating. I know my GPA is relatively low, but I would like to emphasize that obtaining a 3.9 during jr. year at my school is fairly rare. My school is a specialized school which focuses on my intended major of econ.</p>

<p>Essay is very good, reccomendations are very good as well (one is from IB Econ teacher).</p>

<p>DECA- 1st place regional and state champion and 9th in the world as a freshman, state finalist for sophomore and junior year. VP of my school's DECA Chapter (over 100 members).</p>
<p>Model UN- Awards include best delegate, outstanding delegate at large and small conferences including Princeton and Yale. Also chaired a chapter event.</p>

I also was awarded the Presidential Award for Volunteer Service. I also am a volunteer student teacher for summer business courses.</p>
<p>I have also won a few writing competitions, and have done original economic research. Also I have won awards at states business competition. I was also published in Time magazine.</p>
<p>Work Experiences: Part time job during school year, Internship at Merrill Lynch, and at another small marketing firm.
Summer Experience: Econ Program at Brown University, internships/volunteer work.</p>
<p>I am very worried about my GPA. I know everything else is passable, but please let me know if I am even a competitive ED and RD applicant at any of these schools. </p>
