<p>David McGill, principal bassoonist of the Chicago Symphony is leaving his orchestra job (effective August, 2014) to take a full-time, tenured teaching position at Northwestern't Bienen School of Music. He's been with the CSO for 17 years and is also an author who is working on a new book.</p>
