Northwestern HMPE

do sat/sat II scores play a big part in HPME program....my scores are rly horrible compared to what the HPME generally accepts....but im in the1% in a rly compettive high school and have real good ecs and stuff but the only downside are my scores...what do you guys think?

and also can i submitt my act scores rather then mysat scores ( in addition to my sat 2s)..??

thanks for any replies

You could probably just submit your ACT score, because the ACT would take the place of the SAT and SAT II's. I'm not familiar with HPME's requirements though.

ACT does not take the place of both SAT I and SAT II (just SAT I)

really? I was pretty sure it did. I remember reading PLME's brochure and many others and it had said that the ACT taken with the writing option would replace both the SAT and SAT IIs. I don't know about HPME, though.

sat's and sat II's I think do play a big part of hpme... you should see their averages... besides you need to send your sat II scores in chem and math IIc to get into the program which means that your sat scores will also be sent at the same time
