Northwestern MBA

Im currently a student at the U of Cincinnati. Its been a very long journey, it took 5 years for me to get my associates I really struggled with depression and lack of confidence. I was able to finish very strong though i had a very low 2.6 junior college gpa apon graduation. However over my last 2 semesters I averaged a 3.8 gpa and haven’t looked back since and had a 3.6 my first semester at my university. I believe over my next 2 years I can run the table and get a 4.0 once I graduate from the University of Cincinnati and do well on the GRE. My major is sport management, I plan on taking a couple of years off after graduation to build up work experience and prepare for the GRE. I was wondering will northwestern care about my junior college struggles? If I dominate everything else? And is it possible for me to make it in.

You should work hard in studying to achieve a 700+ on the GMAT. MBA programs generally look at GMAT scores, not GRE. Keep your upper division grades up. Community College grades are not part of the Univ. or Cincinnati GPA.

Even though Northwestern takes GMAT and GRE I would take GMAT because most schools either only want GMAT or strongly prefer it. So, you will have a test score you can send to other schools besides Northwestern if they interest you.
